Mounjaro®

Start journey Learn moreThe cheapest place for Mounjaro in the UK is not a single provider — private prices vary by dose and clinic, and have risen significantly since Eli Lilly adjusted its UK list pricing in September 2025, with market rates typically ranging from roughly £149 to £375 per month depending on dose and supplier. Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a prescription-only medicine, so any legitimate price must cover a clinical assessment by a qualified prescriber, that is a legal requirement, not an add-on. What differs between providers is how much else that price includes, and how seriously the clinical process is taken. Before comparing figures, it is worth understanding what you are actually buying.

Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine, and in the UK the only lawful route to it is through a valid prescription following a genuine clinical assessment. That means every legitimate provider (whether a GP, a private clinic, or a regulated online pharmacy) is selling a clinical service alongside the medicine. The variation in price reflects how much of that service is bundled in.
Eli Lilly raised Mounjaro's UK list price in September 2025. Reported figures suggest the highest-dose pen rose from around £122 to around £330 on the manufacturer's list, and private market prices have moved with that. As widely reported at the time, typical private prices since then range from roughly £149 at the lower doses to around £375 per month at the top of the titration schedule, varying by provider. These are market-rate figures, hedged as such, individual pricing changes, and a figure that looked competitive last month may not be today.
Dose matters here too. The starting 2.5mg pen exists to help your body adjust, not to produce maximum results, so most people move through the schedule over several months. If you want to know where to find the cheapest place for Mounjaro 2.5mg, that page covers what the starter dose typically costs across providers and what to look out for. Comparing prices across the titration ladder, dose for dose, gives a more honest picture. Our Mounjaro price guide sets out how the cost structure typically looks at each stage.
This is where the real difference between providers often lives. A headline price for Mounjaro from an online seller may or may not include the consultation fee, the prescription charge, delivery costs, and ongoing clinical support. Some platforms charge each of those separately; others bundle some but not all.
There is a common misconception that price comparison for a prescription medicine works the same way as comparing broadband or car insurance, that you can simply sort by cheapest and pick the top result. It does not work that way. For a medicine that requires clinical assessment, the quality of that assessment, the prescriber's qualifications, and the aftercare available if something goes wrong are all part of what you are paying for. The Mounjaro price comparison page goes through this in more detail.
Specific things worth checking before accepting a headline price: is the consultation included or charged separately? Is delivery free? Is there a fee for the prescription? Is clinical support available between orders if you have a question or a side effect? Is every repeat order individually reviewed? Those extras add up quickly, and a price that looks cheaper at checkout can overtake a bundled price within the first two or three months.
Questions about what a specific dose costs are answered on our dose-level pages, for example, if you are looking for the cheapest place for Mounjaro 7.5mg, that page covers the mid-titration range where most patients settle for several months, alongside the 5mg pricing page. If you have already reached the higher end of that mid-range, our guide to the cheapest place for 7.5mg Mounjaro looks specifically at what competitive pricing at that dose actually includes across different providers.
Plainly: we are not the cheapest option on the market, and that is a deliberate choice. A small saving on a prescription medicine is not a neutral decision, it usually means something has been stripped out of the clinical process or the service around it.
At nume, one price covers the consultation, the prescription, the medicine, and free next-working-day delivery by DPD. There are no separate charges at any stage. Every consultation is read the same day by a GPhC-registered Independent Prescriber, you can verify our pharmacy on the GPhC register (registration 9012878). Every repeat order is clinically re-reviewed before it is approved; nothing dispatches automatically. Aftercare is available seven days a week if you have questions between orders. There are no subscriptions and no auto-renewals.
Current treatment pricing is on the treatment page. We do not publish per-pen prices in page copy, because the right price for you depends on your dose, which a prescriber decides, not a price list.
For most purchases, price is a reasonable starting point. For a prescription-only medicine sourced online, it is arguably the wrong test. The MHRA has issued repeated warnings about counterfeit weight-loss pens sold through unverified online channels, in October 2025, enforcement teams raided the first illicit UK site manufacturing fake tirzepatide pens, and in 2025 alone, approximately 20 million doses of illegally traded weight-loss medicines (with an estimated street value of around £45 million) were seized. Some counterfeit pens have contained insulin rather than the labelled medicine, with serious consequences for patients who took them.
The marker of a legitimate provider is straightforward: they require a clinical assessment, they hold a verifiable GPhC pharmacy registration, and they source medicines through the licensed UK supply chain. If you are researching the cheapest place for 10mg Mounjaro, that page explains what a genuinely competitive price at the highest dose looks like and the red flags that signal a seller may not be legitimate. You can check any online pharmacy on the GPhC pharmacy register. Suspect sellers can be reported directly through the MHRA Yellow Card scheme.
If you are considering Mounjaro and want to understand the full picture (eligibility, how the titration works, and what the clinical process involves) the Mounjaro overview page is a good place to start, and our FAQs cover the questions our prescribers hear most often. When you are ready, a free consultation is the first step.
