It is a small amount. Half a millilitre is roughly equivalent to ten drops of water, far less than a teaspoon. What 2.5mg is actually for, and why the volume question arises

The 2.5mg strength exists specifically to give your body time to adjust. Tirzepatide works by activating two gut-hormone pathways involved in appetite regulation and blood-sugar control, and starting at a low concentration reduces the likelihood of nausea and other gastrointestinal side effects in the first weeks.
