Mounjaro®

Start journey Learn moreMounjaro 10mg is one of the higher strengths of tirzepatide available in the UK and, as a prescription-only medicine, it can only be legally supplied following a clinical assessment by a qualified prescriber. Private prices for this dose vary across providers, and understanding what those figures actually include is the most useful thing you can do before comparing them. After Eli Lilly revised its UK list pricing in September 2025, the highest-dose Mounjaro pen's list price rose to around £330 per four-week pen, and most private providers set their own prices somewhere above or around the reported £149–£375 monthly range depending on dose and what is bundled in. At 10mg, typical market pricing sits toward the upper end of that bracket. At nume — sorry, at nume — we include consultation, prescription, treatment and free next-working-day delivery in one transparent price, with no subscriptions and no hidden fees. Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine; a prescriber decides suitability, not a checkout page.

Mounjaro is supplied as a KwikPen containing four weekly doses, so a single pen covers one month of treatment at your current dose. At 10mg you are already four steps into the licensed titration schedule, which means the list price Eli Lilly charges wholesalers is higher than it is for the starter doses. That wholesale cost is the floor every legitimate provider works from, and it rose substantially when Lilly revised UK list prices in September 2025. The figures that circulate online (reported widely at the time) put the highest-dose pen's list price at roughly £330, compared with around £122 previously.
Private providers then add their own margin and, critically, some bundle in the clinical services while others do not. A headline figure of £X per pen may or may not include your consultation, the prescription charge, delivery, and any ongoing clinical support. That variation explains most of the apparent price difference you will see across the market. On the full breakdown of Mounjaro injection costs we lay out what those component parts typically are.
There is also a legitimacy dimension. The GPhC maintains a public register of UK pharmacies, a quick check at pharmacyregulation.org takes under a minute and tells you whether a provider is legally authorised to dispense prescription medicines. If a provider is not on that register, the price becomes irrelevant.
Price comparisons for prescription medicines are rarely apples-to-apples. A listed monthly fee sometimes covers only the pen itself, with consultation, prescribing and delivery charged separately at the point of order or at renewal. Some services charge a one-off joining fee; others auto-renew without a fresh clinical review. It is worth reading the small print before committing, because the total spend over several months can diverge significantly from the advertised figure.
Aftercare is another variable that rarely appears in headline pricing. At 10mg you are approaching a point in titration where questions about side-effect management, meal planning and dose progression become more common. Access to a prescriber between orders (by message, by phone or via a structured review) has real clinical value and is not universally included. The overall Mounjaro injection pricing guide covers what aftercare models tend to look like across the private market.
Delivery also varies. Some providers use standard post; others use temperature-controlled tracked couriers. Tirzepatide must be stored refrigerated at 2–8°C, so the journey from pharmacy to your door is not a trivial detail. The Mounjaro Summary of Product Characteristics, published on the Electronic Medicines Compendium, sets out storage requirements in full.
Straightforwardly: we are not the cheapest option on the market, and that is a deliberate choice. Our position is that a single transparent price should include everything a patient needs to start and stay on treatment safely, consultation, prescription, the treatment itself, tracked delivery, and seven-day priority aftercare. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no separate invoice for any of those components. Before every repeat order a prescriber re-reviews your case; your progress, any side effects, and whether continuing at the current dose is appropriate are all assessed. Current pricing for each dose is shown on the treatment page.
The clinical team at nume (you can read more about our prescribers on the clinical team page) reviews every consultation personally. That is not a marketing phrase; it reflects the GPhC's guidance on how online prescribing should work. Our pharmacy holds GPhC premises registration 9012878, verifiable directly at pharmacyregulation.org.
If you are currently at a lower dose and want to understand how pricing changes as you progress, you can read about what the 2.5mg starting dose costs and what it includes, or see how the 7.5mg dose is priced as titration continues, alongside the 5mg price page and the broader Mounjaro price overview that sets out the picture dose by dose.
For everyday purchases, price is a sensible starting point. For a prescription-only injectable medicine that requires proper clinical oversight, it is the wrong question, or at least an incomplete one. The MHRA has warned publicly about counterfeit GLP-1 pens sold online, including fake tirzepatide pens seized from an illicit UK manufacturing site in October 2025. Some of those products contained substances other than what was labelled. The signal to watch for is a supplier offering these medicines at prices far below the market range, with minimal or no clinical assessment involved. That combination is a red flag, not a bargain.
NICE's appraisal of tirzepatide, TA1026, sets the clinical standard against which treatment decisions should be made. Responsible private prescribing follows the same principles: the right medicine, for the right person, with proper monitoring throughout. That costs something. At 10mg, you have already progressed through several titration steps under clinical supervision, the investment in continued oversight is what keeps that progress safe.
