Start journey Learn moreMounjaro prices in the UK have shifted significantly since Eli Lilly revised its list pricing in September 2025. Private monthly costs now range roughly from £149 to £375 depending on the dose and the provider you use. Those figures are widely reported and broadly accurate, though what they include varies a great deal. Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a prescription-only medicine, which means you cannot simply buy it: a qualified prescriber must assess your health and issue a prescription before any pharmacy can legally dispense it. Understanding how private pricing is built — and what sits behind the headline figure — will help you compare your options with your eyes open.

When Eli Lilly raised its UK list prices on 1 September 2025, the highest-dose pen moved from around £122 to around £330 at list, as widely reported that August. Private providers set their own prices above cost, so what you see quoted online typically reflects the pen itself plus whatever the pharmacy chooses to bundle around it.
The dose you start on matters here. Treatment begins at 2.5mg (a lower strength designed to help your body adjust gradually) and is titrated upward over several months at the prescriber's discretion. The 2.5mg and 5mg pens carry a lower list cost than the higher maintenance doses, so your monthly spend at the start of treatment will likely be lower than your spend twelve months in. If you want to see exactly what the mid-range step costs, the 5mg Mounjaro prices page breaks down that dose specifically. For a detailed look at how costs shift across the dose range, the full Mounjaro pricing breakdown sets this out clearly.
One honest note on timing: if you are planning to start treatment around a bank holiday or the Christmas period, factor in that dispatch windows may shift. Ordering by noon on a working day is the trigger for same-day processing, something worth checking if your payday falls on an unusual date or just before a long weekend.
A quoted monthly figure does not always represent the full cost of treatment. Some providers charge a separate consultation fee (often £20–£50) on top of the medicine price. Prescription fees may be invoiced separately. Delivery is sometimes free, sometimes not. Aftercare calls, dose-review appointments and clinical check-ins before each repeat order can all be additional line items depending on the service.
This matters because two providers quoting the same headline number can represent very different total costs over a course of treatment. If you are comparing options, it is worth asking explicitly: what does this price include? Consultation, prescription, delivery, clinical review before every repeat? Or just the pen?
You can read more about what Mounjaro costs in practice and how to interpret the figures you find when searching. The per-pen pricing guide also covers how the number changes as doses increase.
At nume, a single price covers the consultation, the prescription, the medicine, and free next-working-day delivery. There are no add-ons and no subscriptions; each repeat order is looked at individually by a prescriber before anything is dispensed. That review is done by a real clinician (a GPhC-registered Independent Prescriber) not an automated system.
We are not the cheapest option on the market. That is a deliberate choice. Running a GPhC-registered pharmacy with genuine same-day clinical review, identity and weight verification, and seven-day aftercare costs more than a service that processes orders more lightly. We think that is the right trade-off for a prescription medicine; you may disagree, and that is a fair position to take.
What we do not do is run discount codes, seasonal offers or voucher promotions. Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine and price-cutting is not something we think belongs in that context. If you have seen a code circulating online, our frequently asked questions explain our position on that clearly.

For any prescription medicine, the cheapest listing is answering the wrong question. The MHRA has issued repeated warnings about fake weight-loss pens sold online, in October 2025 the first UK site manufacturing counterfeit tirzepatide pens was raided, and around 20 million doses of illegally traded weight-loss medicines (with an estimated street value of roughly £45 million) have been seized in enforcement operations. Counterfeit pens have been found to contain insulin rather than tirzepatide, with serious consequences for the people who used them.
Verifying any online pharmacy before you order costs nothing and takes under a minute. The GPhC's pharmacy register lists every legitimately registered UK pharmacy premises; searching by registration number or name will confirm whether a service is operating legally. Red flags to watch for include sellers offering these medicines without first requiring a prescription, prices well below current market rates, and discount codes from sellers you cannot verify. If you are unsure whether a price you have seen is realistic, checking what Mounjaro costs right now gives you a reliable reference point before you commit to any provider.
