When storage goes wrong: what to do if your pen has been exposed

Accidents happen. A pen left on the kitchen counter overnight, a power cut that warms the fridge for several hours, or a pen discovered at the bottom of a bag after a weekend away, these situations need a clear decision: use it or replace it.
