What 1.0mg actually changes, and what it doesn't

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist. It slows the rate at which your stomach empties, signals fullness to your brain, and reduces appetite, and at higher doses, those signals tend to be stronger. Moving from 0.5mg to 1.0mg often brings a more noticeable reduction in hunger than you experienced in the first eight weeks, though individual responses vary considerably.

The side-effect profile can shift too. When the pace slows, or the plan changes

Not everyone reaches 2.4mg on the standard four-week schedule, and that's entirely normal. Some people find tolerability at one dose takes a little longer to establish.
