Pinching skin: why technique matters as much as needle size

Disposing of needles safely, not optional

Used pen needles are clinical sharps. Putting them in household recycling or a standard bin is illegal and creates a real hazard for refuse workers. The right route is a yellow sharps container, which you can request from your GP surgery or local pharmacy. Some councils also collect them.
