Mounjaro®
Starting from £179.99/mo
Start journey Learn moreThere is no standard tirzepatide tablet price in the UK right now — because tirzepatide is not available as a tablet in the UK at all. The only licensed tirzepatide formulation is Mounjaro, a once-weekly injection. If you have seen a listing advertising a tirzepatide tablet or capsule for sale, it is not a UK-licensed product, and buying it carries real risk. For people looking at injection costs, private Mounjaro pricing typically sits somewhere between £149 and £375 a month depending on dose and provider, following Eli Lilly's list-price changes in September 2025, as widely reported. These are prescription-only medicines: a prescriber must assess your suitability before anything is dispensed.

Our team reviews your health the same day — never an algorithm, and approves your treatment there and then if eligible.
Order by 12pm, dispatched same day, delivered free the next working day — the nume Promise.
This is the misconception worth tackling first, because it costs people money and occasionally their health. Mounjaro is a Prescription-Only Medicine. That means every legitimate supply must follow a clinical assessment, a prescription written by a qualified prescriber, and dispensing by a GPhC-registered pharmacy. Those steps have a cost. When a headline price looks significantly lower than the market range, something has usually been stripped out — or the product itself is not what it claims to be.
The MHRA has warned publicly and repeatedly about counterfeit weight-loss pens sold through social media and informal online sellers. Fake pens have contained the wrong substance entirely, including insulin, and have caused hospitalisations. Roughly 20 million doses of illegally traded weight-loss medicines with an estimated street value of around £45 million were seized in 2025 alone. You can check and report suspect sellers at the MHRA's Yellow Card scheme. The verification step for any online pharmacy takes about thirty seconds: look them up on the GPhC register before you hand over your details.
So a low tirzepatide cost is not proof of a deal. It is more often a signal that something has been removed from the process that should not have been.
Even among legitimate UK private providers, the quoted figure rarely reflects the full cost of treatment. Common add-ons that are charged separately elsewhere include the initial consultation fee, the prescription fee, delivery charges (sometimes per order, sometimes per pen), and ongoing clinical review before each repeat. Some providers also charge extra for dose-increase assessments or support calls.
It is worth reading a provider's checkout flow carefully before comparing their headline Mounjaro price with anyone else's. A £149 headline that adds £30 consultation, £10 prescription and £7 delivery is £196. A £175 headline that includes all of those is not the more expensive option.
The tirzepatide cost picture also shifts by dose. The 2.5mg pen Eli Lilly launched at a lower list price because it is a tolerability starter, not a maintenance dose. If you want to understand what the 5mg strength typically costs through legitimate UK providers, our tirzepatide tablets price guide breaks down what each strength typically costs through legitimate UK providers. The 15mg pen, after Lilly's September 2025 price change, has a list price reported at around £330. Private providers price across that range differently; the dose you end up on after titration matters as much as the entry-level figure.
nume is not the cheapest provider on a like-for-like dose comparison. That is a deliberate position. One transparent price covers everything: the consultation, the prescription, the medicine, and free next-working-day tracked delivery by DPD in plain, unbranded packaging. Order before 12pm on a working day, and if your prescriber approves the consultation that same day, it goes out the same afternoon. There are no subscriptions. Every repeat order goes back to a real prescriber for review before anything is sent.
The prescriber reviewing your consultation is a GPhC-registered Independent Prescriber. A named clinician reads your answers, not an automated system. You can read more about the clinical team on our prescriber profile page, and verify the pharmacy's GPhC registration at number 9012878 via the GPhC register.
Current treatment pricing is listed on the weight-loss treatments page, we do not print per-pen figures here because the right dose is a clinical decision, not a shopping choice.
The right questions for a POM are: is this pharmacy registered, is a qualified prescriber reviewing my case, is the medicine coming from the licensed UK supply chain, and what happens if I have a side effect at 9pm on a Sunday? The NICE appraisal of tirzepatide (TA1026) and the NHS England guidance on weight-management injections both frame these medicines within structured clinical oversight for good reason: the evidence base that makes tirzepatide effective is built on monitored, titrated use alongside diet and activity changes.
A small difference in monthly cost is unlikely to matter much over a treatment course. A fake pen, an unsuitable dose, or a missed contraindication can matter enormously. For practical context on how costs break down across different doses, the tirzepatide price guide covers the market picture in more detail, and if you are specifically comparing what different providers charge for the branded version, the Mounjaro tablets price page sets out how those figures typically compare across the dose range.
