Step 3: Recognise when to get medical help, and get it fast

This is the most practical section. If you are taking Wegovy and notice any of the following, stop and seek urgent care the same day (not a phone call to a pharmacy, but a same-day GP appointment or, if out of hours, a visit to urgent care or A&E:

• Sudden loss of vision in one eye, even if partial
• A grey or dark patch appearing in your central or peripheral vision
• Blurred vision that comes on quickly and is not explained by a new glasses prescription
• Double vision or visual disturbance that persists beyond a few minutes
• Eye pain accompanied by redness or sensitivity to light
