A genuinely useful chart would break pricing into columns: the medicine itself, the initial consultation, ongoing prescription fees, delivery per dispatch, and aftercare access. Almost no published comparison does this, partly because the information is hard to gather, partly because the gaps tend to favour whoever is doing the comparing.

Why price is the wrong first question for a prescription medicine

For a POM (which every legitimate Wegovy supply is) the right test is clinical safety, not unit cost. The MHRA has warned repeatedly about fake weight-loss pens circulating online, some found to contain undeclared insulin. A price far below the market rate for genuine semaglutide is not a deal; it's a flag that the supply chain hasn't been verified.

Any legitimate provider can be checked on the GPhC pharmacy register. Any provider offering these medicines without requiring a clinical assessment is operating outside UK law. If you see "discount codes" or vouchers attached to a GLP-1 medicine from an unverified seller, that's not a saving, it's a reason to look elsewhere.
