Mounjaro®

Start journey Learn moreIn the UK private market, Mounjaro pen prices vary by dose and provider, typically running from around £149 to £375 per four-week pen since Eli Lilly raised the list price in September 2025. That range is real, but the number alone rarely tells you what you're actually buying. Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a prescription-only medicine: a qualified prescriber must assess your suitability before any pen is dispensed, which means the cost of a Mounjaro pen should always reflect a consultation, a prescription and clinical oversight — not just the medicine itself. Order by 12pm, dispatched same day, delivered free the next working day — the nume Promise.
Plenty of providers publish a headline figure that covers the pen only. The consultation fee arrives separately at checkout. The prescription charge is added at the next step. Delivery (sometimes next-day, sometimes standard post) costs extra. Aftercare, dose-review support, and access to a prescriber between orders are occasionally listed as optional upgrades.
None of that is hidden in the small print at nume. One price covers the consultation, the prescription, the medicine and free next-working-day tracked delivery. There are no subscriptions and no auto-renewals: every repeat order is clinically re-reviewed before it goes out. That re-review matters, because Mounjaro is titrated gradually from a 2.5 mg starting dose upwards, and a prescriber needs to confirm you're tolerating each step before you move to the next. The full Mounjaro treatment overview explains how that titration works in practice.
If you're comparing costs across providers, the fair comparison adds up every line: medicine, consultation, prescription, delivery, and what happens if you have a question on a Saturday afternoon. That total is the number worth comparing, and if the 5 mg pen is where you're starting, you can check the current cost of the Mounjaro 5 mg pen to see exactly what that line item looks like.
In September 2025 Eli Lilly revised Mounjaro's UK list price significantly, with the highest-dose pen rising from around £122 to around £330 at list. Private providers set their own prices above that, which is why the market range since then runs to around £375 at higher doses. Lower doses remain cheaper (the 2.5 mg and 5 mg pens sit at the lower end of that range) and some providers price each dose differently, so the monthly cost changes as you titrate upward.
The practical consequence: if you started treatment before September 2025 and have since moved to a higher dose, your monthly cost has very likely increased regardless of provider. That's not a service decision; it reflects the manufacturer's pricing. Our updated Mounjaro cost page keeps these figures current, and the Mounjaro price breakdown explains how doses affect what you pay month to month.
The figures above are drawn from widely reported coverage of Lilly's announcement and typical private market pricing; individual providers set their own charges and these can shift. Treatment pricing at nume is shown clearly on the treatment page, not buried in this paragraph.
Cheapest isn't a race we entered. A prescription medicine dispensed through a regulated, GPhC-registered pharmacy requires infrastructure: a named prescriber reading every consultation, photo-ID and live-video weight verification, GP notification in line with GPhC guidance, Summary Care Record checks where appropriate, and a genuine licensed UK supply chain. All of that costs something, and passing that cost entirely to the patient while cutting clinical corners isn't something we're willing to do.
Order by 12pm on a weekday and, once your consultation has been approved, your pen ships the same day and arrives with DPD the next working day. That's the promise our pharmacy is built around. For a lot of people, knowing exactly what's coming and when (rather than waiting for a standard-post parcel with no tracking) is itself worth something.
Our clinical team reviews every consultation personally. That's the standard we hold to, and it's reflected in the price rather than hidden in it.
The MHRA has warned publicly about counterfeit weight-loss pens sold online, including fake pens found to contain insulin rather than tirzepatide. In October 2025 the agency raided an illicit UK manufacturing site producing counterfeit tirzepatide pens, seizing around 20 million doses of illegally traded weight-loss medicines with an estimated street value of around £45 million. The MHRA's Yellow Card scheme allows you to report suspected fake sellers.
A price far below the market range is a flag, not a bargain. The legal route to Mounjaro in the UK is a prescription issued by a qualified prescriber following a clinical assessment, dispensed by a pharmacy you can verify on the GPhC register, our registration number is 9012878. Sellers offering prescription medicines without requiring any clinical review, or advertising discount codes for Mounjaro, are not operating within that framework.
NICE's guidance on tirzepatide, published as TA1026, sets out the clinical criteria under which treatment is appropriate. A service that bypasses that assessment isn't offering you a deal, it's skipping the part that keeps you safe. For more on what drives the price differences you'll see online, the Mounjaro cost guide goes into further detail, and pen pricing by dose covers how each strength is typically charged.
