Picture the moment the DPD driver hands over that plain, unbranded box. The gel pack inside will still be cool, but your first job is to get the pens into the refrigerator promptly. Wegovy pens are licensed for storage at 2°C to 8°C, which is the standard middle-shelf temperature in most domestic fridges. When a pen might be damaged, and what to do

Semaglutide is a protein-based medicine, which means it is sensitive to temperature extremes in both directions. A pen that has been frozen, left in a hot car, or stored beyond its room-temperature window may have degraded in ways that are not visible to the naked eye.
