Mounjaro®
Starting from £179.99/mo
Start journey Learn moreMounjaro costs roughly £149–£375 per month through UK private services, depending on your dose and provider — and that range has widened considerably since Eli Lilly raised its UK list price in September 2025, when the highest-dose pen's list price moved from around £122 to around £330. Those are the honest numbers. Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a prescription-only medicine that can only be dispensed following a clinical assessment by a qualified prescriber, so any monthly figure you see advertised is inseparable from the clinical service behind it. What that service actually includes varies considerably between providers, which is where the real comparison starts.

A question our prescribers hear most weeks: someone has seen three different prices online and wants to know which one is real. They all can be, because private Mounjaro pricing is set by each individual service, and what sits behind the number differs enormously.
Mounjaro is dispensed as a once-weekly KwikPen, with each pen containing four doses. A single monthly supply is therefore one pen. Treatment starts at the 2.5mg strength (a tolerability stage designed to let your body adjust) and is typically titrated through 5mg, 7.5mg and higher doses over subsequent months as your prescriber judges appropriate. Because higher doses carry a higher list price, your monthly outlay is likely to increase as treatment progresses. The September 2025 list-price increase by Eli Lilly sharpened this effect: at the upper end of the dose range, private prices are now materially higher than they were twelve months ago. If you are trying to work out how much Mounjaro is a month at your specific dose and stage of treatment, reported private prices since then range roughly £149–£375 per month depending on dose and provider.
That range reflects genuine market variation, not error. Some services price each pen separately and add fees on top; others bundle more in. Understanding what the number covers is the only way to compare honestly. The full Mounjaro pricing picture (including what drives cost at different stages of treatment) is worth reading before you decide.
Headline prices for private weight-loss treatment are, at times, a little like airline fares: the number you see first is not always the number you pay. Several common extras are worth checking before you commit to any provider.
Consultation fees are the most frequent surprise. Some services charge separately for the initial assessment and again for repeat reviews. Prescription fees may be itemised on top of the medicine cost. Delivery is another variable, free next-working-day delivery is not standard across all providers; some charge per shipment or default to a slower option. Aftercare is perhaps the least visible gap: round-the-clock clinical support matters when you have a question about a side effect at the weekend, and not every service provides it meaningfully.
Then there is the clinical rigour itself. Mounjaro is a NICE-recommended treatment for eligible adults, and the prescribing process should include identity verification, weight verification and a genuine review of your health history, every time, including repeats. A lower headline price can reflect thinner clinical infrastructure, which is a different kind of cost. You can read more about what monthly Mounjaro costs cover in practice.
We lose the price comparison on purpose. Our current treatment pricing is shown on the weight-loss treatments page (we don't print per-pen figures in body copy) but the structure is one transparent number that includes everything: consultation, prescription, medicine, and free next-working-day tracked delivery by DPD in plain unbranded packaging. No subscription. No auto-renewal. No hidden fees materialising at checkout.
Every consultation is personally reviewed by a GPhC-registered Independent Prescriber (a real clinician reads your answers and signs off on your treatment) and every repeat order goes through the same clinical review. We also run photo-ID verification, live weight confirmation on video, and Summary Care Record checks where appropriate. You can verify our pharmacy on the GPhC register at any time: our registration number is 9012878, and the GPhC register entry is publicly accessible. That infrastructure costs money to run properly. It is built into the price.

For most purchases, price is a reasonable proxy for value. For a prescription-only injectable medicine, it is the wrong test entirely. The MHRA has publicly warned about counterfeit weight-loss pens sold through social media and unverified websites, fake pens that have, in documented cases, contained insulin. Enforcement in 2025 included the seizure of approximately 20 million doses of illegally traded weight-loss medicines (around £45 million in street value) and the first raid on an illicit UK site manufacturing counterfeit tirzepatide pens. Sellers offering these medicines without a prescription, at prices far below the market, or via discount codes from unfamiliar sources, are red flags. Every legitimate supply of Mounjaro in the UK travels through the licensed supply chain and requires a prescription from a regulated prescriber. If you are comparing providers, it is worth knowing that Mounjaro at £99 per month is a price point that warrants careful scrutiny, because a small saving is not the measure that keeps you safe.
If you want to check whether a particular online pharmacy is registered, the GPhC runs a publicly searchable register, it takes about thirty seconds and is worth doing before you order anywhere. When you're ready to talk through whether Mounjaro is clinically suitable for you, our team is here.
