Mounjaro®
Starting from £179.99/mo
Start journey Learn moreThe Mounjaro jab costs roughly £149 to £375 per month in the UK private market, depending on the dose and the provider — and every legitimate price includes a prescription from a clinical assessment, because Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine. Prices rose significantly after Eli Lilly increased its UK list price in September 2025, with the highest dose moving from around £122 to around £330 per four-week pen. If you're searching because you're trying to work out whether you can afford treatment, or whether the cost is justified, that's a completely fair question — and the answer depends on more than the headline number. What you actually pay, and what you get for it, varies considerably between providers. A prescriber decides whether Mounjaro is clinically suitable for you; no legitimate service skips that step.

Mounjaro treatment in the UK private market is priced per pen, with each pen containing four once-weekly doses. Because treatment begins at the 2.5mg starter dose and is titrated upwards over weeks and months, what you pay changes as your dose changes. Lower doses tend to cost less per pen; the higher maintenance doses cost more. As widely reported, Eli Lilly's list price increase in late 2025 pushed the ceiling significantly higher, and most private providers adjusted their prices accordingly.
The range you'll see quoted across the market sits roughly between £149 and £375 per four-week supply, varying by dose and provider. Those figures are hedged deliberately: pricing is not fixed and providers set their own margins. What matters is understanding what a quoted price actually covers, because that varies too. You can find more detail on how these figures break down in our Mounjaro price overview.
One thing to be clear about from the start: Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine, regulated under UK law. The price you pay must include a clinical assessment and a prescription issued by a qualified prescriber. Any listing that sidesteps that process is not a legitimate route to this medicine, a point we return to below.
A common frustration is arriving at checkout and finding the number is higher than advertised. It happens because providers structure their costs differently, and the quoted figure doesn't always include everything needed to actually receive treatment.
Consultation fees are one example, some providers charge separately for the clinical assessment, which can add £20 to £50 or more to each order. Prescription fees are another, sometimes charged per prescription rather than folded into the medicine cost. Delivery is frequently an add-on, and aftercare (the ongoing clinical support that matters when your dose needs reviewing or you have a question about side effects) may sit behind a membership fee or not be offered at all.
For a medicine where your dose is titrated over months, ongoing clinical access isn't optional. If you want a clearer picture of how much Mounjaro is once all these extras are factored in, our dedicated page covers them in detail, and the NHS provides general guidance on what to expect from weight management medicines at NHS England's weight management injections page.
At nume, one price covers the consultation, the prescription, the medicine, delivery and aftercare, no separate fees stacked on top. Order before 12pm Monday to Friday and, once your consultation has been reviewed and approved by one of our prescribers, your treatment is dispatched the same day and arrives free the next working day via DPD.
We are not the cheapest option on the market, and that is deliberate. Cheapest isn't a race we entered. What we charge reflects the cost of doing this properly: a real GPhC-registered prescriber reads every consultation (not a decision algorithm) and every repeat order is clinically re-reviewed before anything is dispensed. There are no subscriptions and no auto-renewals. You can verify our pharmacy on the GPhC register (registration number 9012878) at pharmacyregulation.org. Current treatment pricing is on our consultation and treatment page.
Questions about our clinical team and how we work are answered on our about us page.
The MHRA has warned repeatedly about fake weight-loss pens sold through social media and unverified websites, counterfeit pens that have contained insulin and caused serious harm. In 2025 alone, enforcement action recovered around 20 million doses of illegally traded weight-loss medicines worth an estimated £45m, and a clandestine site producing counterfeit tirzepatide pens was raided in Northampton. The MHRA's public guidance on this is clear and worth reading if you haven't already.
The practical implication: a price well below the market range for a legitimate, prescription-only medicine is a warning sign, not a saving. If you are comparing providers, understanding how much the Mounjaro pen costs at a legitimate pharmacy helps you recognise when a figure is too low to include safe, lawful supply. Sellers offering it without a clinical assessment (regardless of how the listing is framed) are not operating within UK law.
For a prescription medicine, the right test is whether the supply chain is safe, whether a qualified prescriber has assessed you, and whether ongoing clinical support is available if something changes. Our page on Mounjaro jab price explains what a legitimate figure typically reflects and why it matters, and if you want a full breakdown of what the Mounjaro jab costs across doses and providers, that page sets it out clearly alongside how much the Mounjaro jab costs when all fees are included.
