The biggest misconception: one price means one thing

In August 2025, Eli Lilly announced a significant UK list-price increase for Mounjaro, effective 1 September 2025. Private market prices have adjusted accordingly, which is why you may notice older content quoting figures that no longer reflect reality.

For a prescription medicine, the cheapest option answers the wrong question

The MHRA has warned publicly about fake weight-loss pens sold through social media and unverified online sellers. Counterfeit pens seized in the UK have contained the wrong substances entirely (in some cases, insulin) and have caused hospitalisations.
