Mounjaro®
Starting from £179.99/mo
Start journey Learn moreIn the UK, the cost of Mounjaro jabs through a private provider typically ranges from around £149 to £375 per month, depending on the dose and the provider — a range that widened significantly after Eli Lilly raised its UK list price from 1 September 2025, with the highest-dose pen rising from roughly £122 to around £330 at list price. What that monthly figure actually covers varies a great deal between clinics. Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a prescription-only medicine; no legitimate provider can supply it without a clinical assessment by a prescriber, so the total cost of treatment is always more than the pen itself. Understanding what sits inside a price is, genuinely, the most useful thing you can do before choosing where to go.

Picture this: you've spent twenty minutes comparing prices across different websites, found a figure that looks reasonable, and are about to click through. Then, at checkout, a consultation fee appears. Then a prescription charge. Then a delivery cost. By the time you've added those up, the number looks quite different from the one that caught your attention.
This is a pattern worth knowing about before you start. Some private providers quote the pen price alone, then add a separate clinical consultation fee (which can range from nothing to over £30 per order), a prescription charge, and delivery on top. Others bundle some of those in but charge a monthly membership to access the service. None of this is hidden in the small print on purpose (it reflects genuinely different business models) but it does mean that comparing headline prices directly tells you very little. The full picture of how much Mounjaro jabs cost has to include every line item before you can make a fair comparison.
One other thing to check: aftercare. Dose increases require clinical sign-off, and questions come up mid-month. Some services provide this free; others charge per review or sell it as an add-on. That ongoing clinical relationship is part of the cost of safe treatment, whether it appears on an invoice or not.
Until August 2025, private Mounjaro prices were relatively stable across the market. Then Eli Lilly announced a significant UK list price increase, effective 1 September 2025, with widely reported figures showing the highest-dose pen moving from around £122 to around £330 at list. Private providers set their own retail prices above the list price to cover dispensing, clinical overhead and delivery, so the market-wide effect on what patients pay has been substantial. For a dose-by-dose look at how that translates to monthly figures, the Mounjaro cost breakdown by dose page sets out the context in full.
It is also worth knowing that Mounjaro treatment typically begins at 2.5mg (a dose that exists to let your body adjust, not to deliver the full therapeutic effect) and the dose is usually increased in steps every four weeks or so by the prescriber. That means the cost at month one and the cost at month six may not be the same figure. Providers who quote a single monthly price are often quoting at the starter dose; confirming the price at higher doses before you commit is sensible.
The NICE guidance on tirzepatide, published in December 2024 and available in full at NICE TA1026, sets out the clinical criteria under which tirzepatide is recommended, context that matters for understanding who this medicine is intended for and how it is reviewed at the six-month mark.
nume is not the least expensive option on the market. That is a deliberate choice, not an oversight. A single transparent price covers the consultation, the prescription, the medicine, next-working-day DPD delivery, and 7-day aftercare, nothing is itemised separately or added at checkout. There is no subscription and no auto-renewal; every repeat order is reviewed afresh by a prescriber before it is approved.
When your order arrives, it comes in a plain box with a DPD tracking number, and inside you will find the Mounjaro KwikPen, a pre-filled, once-weekly injection pen containing four doses. There is no guesswork about what is inside or where it came from: medicine is sourced through the licensed UK supply chain, and our GPhC-registered pharmacy (registration number 9012878, verifiable on the GPhC register) is regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine. That legal status exists because it requires a proper clinical assessment, it is not suitable for everyone, and the prescriber's job is to establish whether it is right for you, at what starting dose, and what monitoring makes sense given your health history. The NHS has published clear guidance on this through its weight management injections resource.
The MHRA has also warned publicly about fake weight-loss pens sold online (often at prices that look attractively low) with around 20 million doses of illegally traded weight-loss medicines (roughly £45m in value) seized in 2025 enforcement operations. The risk is real. A price that sits well below the market range is a reason to verify, not a reason to buy faster. Confirming any online pharmacy on the GPhC register takes about thirty seconds and tells you whether you are dealing with a regulated dispenser or not.
