Start journey Learn moreMounjaro prices in the UK vary by dose and provider, typically ranging from around £149 to £375 per four-week pen since Eli Lilly raised its list price in September 2025. As a prescription-only medicine, any legitimate price includes clinical assessment by a qualified prescriber — the medicine alone is never the whole picture. Understanding what sits behind that monthly figure helps you compare providers honestly rather than on headline numbers alone. Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is licensed for weight management and requires a prescriber to assess your individual circumstances before it can be dispensed — no reputable pharmacy will skip that step.

On 1 September 2025, Eli Lilly revised Mounjaro's UK list pricing. The most widely reported change was at the higher doses: the 15 mg pen's list price rose from around £122 to around £330. Private providers set their own prices above that list cost, which is why you'll see a spread across the market rather than one flat figure. Reporting at the time put typical private monthly costs anywhere from roughly £149 at the lower doses to around £375 at the highest.
That spread isn't arbitrary. A large part of it reflects what each provider wraps around the medicine: some prices bundle the clinical consultation and aftercare; others list the pen alone and add fees later. Before comparing two providers on price, it's worth reading the small print on both, you may find the apparent saving disappears once you add what the cheaper quote left out.
For a fuller picture of how tirzepatide is priced across the market, the cheapest Mounjaro UK page looks at this in detail, including the risks that can come with very low-cost listings.
Because Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine, the process of getting it is itself a clinical one. The NHS England guidance on weight-management injections is clear that these medicines sit within a supported care pathway, not a simple purchase. A complete private price should cover at minimum: a clinical consultation, a prescription issued by a qualified prescriber, the medicine itself, and delivery. Many providers charge these elements separately; others bundle them.
There are also ongoing costs to consider. Mounjaro is titrated, the prescriber moves you through doses as your body adjusts, typically in four-week steps starting at 2.5 mg. That starter pen is priced lower than a 10 mg or 15 mg pen, but it isn't the dose you'll stay on. Budgeting realistically means accounting for where your prescriber expects you to land over time, not just the first month's figure.
Clinical aftercare matters too. If you feel unwell, if your dose needs reviewing, or if your circumstances change, you need to be able to reach someone. That support has a cost, and providers who don't charge for it separately are either including it in the headline price or not offering it at all. It's a reasonable question to ask before you commit.
A price far below the market range is worth pausing at. The MHRA has issued repeated warnings about counterfeit weight-loss pens sold online (including fake Mounjaro) and in October 2025 raided the first illicit UK site manufacturing counterfeit tirzepatide pens. You can read the detail on the MHRA's Yellow Card site, which also lets you report suspect sellers. Counterfeit pens have contained wrong substances and caused real harm.
A legitimate private price for Mounjaro reflects the cost of genuine medicine sourced through the licensed UK supply chain, plus clinical oversight. Sellers offering it without a valid prescription or clinical assessment, via social media, or with aggressive discount codes are red flags, not bargains. The best places to get Mounjaro page covers how to verify a pharmacy on the GPhC register before ordering.
If you've ever been curious about where the name Mounjaro actually comes from, that's covered separately, though the more pressing check is confirming your pharmacy is legitimate. You can check any UK pharmacy's GPhC registration directly, it takes about thirty seconds and tells you whether the pharmacy is registered to legally dispense prescription medicines. That check costs nothing and is the simplest safety step available.
Price is a reasonable thing to consider, but for a prescription medicine it answers the wrong question if it's the only one. The right questions are: is the pharmacy GPhC-registered, is a qualified prescriber reviewing my case individually, am I getting genuine medicine from the licensed supply chain, and will someone be available if I need help on treatment?
At nume, the price includes a free consultation reviewed the same day by a GPhC-registered Independent Prescriber, a real clinician reads your answers, not software. It includes the prescription, the medicine, and free next-working-day tracked delivery via DPD in plain packaging. If you order before noon on a working day and your consultation is approved, the pen ships the same afternoon, useful if you're trying to avoid a complicated trip mid-week. Aftercare is available seven days a week. There are no subscriptions and no auto-renewals; every repeat order is reviewed again.
We're not the cheapest option. That's a deliberate choice: one transparent price, nothing added later. Current treatment pricing is on the weight-loss treatments page. If you'd like to explore whether Mounjaro is clinically suitable for you, start your free consultation there.
