Click counting is a reassurance check. It is not a substitute for watching the injection window (if your pen has one), confirming that fluid moved, or rotating your injection site as your prescriber advised. If the pen clicks but no liquid appears in the inspection window, or if you feel resistance that is harder than usual, stop and seek advice, do not press harder.
