Start journey Learn moreIn the UK, private Wegovy pricing varies by dose and provider. Most clinics charge per pen, and since treatment runs across five dose steps from 0.25 mg up to a 2.4 mg maintenance dose, the monthly cost changes as you move through the schedule — typically ranging from around £149 to £375 per month depending on dose and where you get it. These are private prescription costs; Wegovy is a prescription-only medicine, and a prescriber must assess whether it's clinically appropriate for you before any supply can happen. That clinical step isn't optional — it's the law, and it's the thing that makes pricing genuinely hard to compare at a glance.

When someone searches for Wegovy dose prices, they're usually not comparison-shopping pens the way they'd compare supermarket olive oil. They're trying to answer a harder question: is this affordable over the months it takes to work, and am I looking at the real number or a teaser?
That's a fair concern. Reported UK private prices since Eli Lilly raised list prices in September 2025 give you a rough market range (roughly £149 to £375 per month) but those figures mask a lot of variation by dose. A 0.25 mg starter pen costs far less than a 2.4 mg maintenance pen, and the schedule runs across five steps. So the monthly cost early in treatment looks very different from what you'd pay six months in, which is why it's worth looking at Wegovy dose prices broken down by stage before drawing any conclusions.
Before any number means much, it's worth knowing what's inside it. More on that below.
The single figure quoted in a lot of online listings typically covers the pen only. Dig further and you often find consultation fees charged separately, a prescription fee on top, or a delivery charge per order. Some services also operate on a subscription model that auto-renews unless you actively cancel.
A quick habit that takes under a minute: before reading any pharmacy's pricing, scroll to their checkout or FAQ page and look for the words "consultation fee" and "delivery", if neither is mentioned alongside the headline price, they're almost certainly separate line items.
None of this means those services are doing anything wrong. But understanding the full cost of Wegovy requires adding those components up, not just comparing the figure in the headline. A lower starting number can become a higher real cost once everything is included. The dose-by-dose cost breakdown is worth reading before you commit to anything.
We're not the cheapest option. That's a deliberate choice, not an oversight.
The single price at nume covers the consultation, the prescription, the medicine itself, and next-working-day DPD delivery. Nothing else is added. There are no subscription fees and no auto-renewals. Before your first order and before every repeat, a GPhC-registered Independent Prescriber reviews your case personally. That costs time and expertise, and it's reflected in the price.
NICE's guidance on semaglutide (TA875) makes clear that Wegovy is intended to be used alongside proper clinical support, the medicine alone, without that structure, isn't what the evidence was built on. Our view is that the clinical review and aftercare are part of what you're paying for, not an add-on you should expect to find discounted elsewhere. You can read about what each pen in the schedule contains, and see exactly what's included in our pricing on the treatment page.

The MHRA has issued repeated warnings about fake weight-loss pens sold online and through social media. In one enforcement operation in 2025, around 20 million doses of illegally traded weight-loss medicines with an estimated street value of roughly £45 million were seized. A counterfeit tirzepatide manufacturing site was raided in Northampton the same year. These weren't obvious fakes; some contained insulin instead of semaglutide.
The pattern is consistent: unusually low prices, sellers operating outside the regulated UK supply chain, and no verifiable prescription process. Our FAQs explain what legitimate supply looks like. You can verify any online pharmacy (including us) on the GPhC register; our premises registration is 9012878. If a listing offers Wegovy without a visible prescription process, that's the signal to walk away, not the bargain it might look like.
The MHRA's public guidance on GLP-1 medicines confirms these are prescription-only treatments, assessed for medical suitability, not cosmetic convenience. The right question isn't which provider charges least. It's which provider can show you a genuine UK supply chain, a verifiable pharmacy registration, and a clinician who has actually read your case.
