Best Priced Weight Loss Injections: What UK Pricing Actually Tells You

Free consultation, clinically reviewed the same day by a GPhC-registered Independent Prescriber, a real clinician, not automated software.
Prescription and treatment included in one transparent price, with no separate dispensing or consultation fee added at checkout.
Free next-working-day tracked delivery by DPD, dispatched the same day if you order before 12pm and are clinically approved.
Priority aftercare seven days a week, and every repeat order is reviewed again before it ships, no auto-renewals, no subscriptions.

The best-priced weight loss injections in the UK are not necessarily the cheapest ones listed online. For private treatment with Mounjaro or Wegovy, legitimate providers price per four-week pen and the figure must cover a prescription, clinical assessment and dispensing — any quote that excludes those elements is incomplete. Since Eli Lilly raised Mounjaro's UK list price in September 2025, private market rates have ranged roughly £149–£375 per month depending on dose and provider, as widely reported. Both medicines are prescription-only treatments for weight management, which means a qualified prescriber must assess your suitability before any medicine is dispensed — that clinical step is non-negotiable regardless of where you buy.

How Private Pricing Works, What Gets Left Out, and Why the Cheapest Option Can Be the Riskiest

Step 1, Understand what a legitimate private price must include

Private weight loss injections in the UK are Prescription-Only Medicines. That status isn't a technicality; it shapes what any honest provider must build into their price. At minimum: a clinical consultation, a prescriber's assessment, a written prescription, the medicine itself, and dispensing by a GPhC-registered pharmacy. Some providers list only the cost of the pen and charge separately for the consultation, for the prescription or for delivery. When you add those line items back in, a headline figure that looked competitive often lands at roughly the same place, or higher.

Since September 2025, Eli Lilly's UK list price for Mounjaro's highest dose rose sharply, from around £122 to around £330 per four-week pen, as widely reported. Private providers set their own prices above that floor. How providers set their weight loss injection prices explains the structure in more detail. The practical takeaway: a price well below the current market floor for a given dose is a warning sign, not a bargain.

NICE recommends tirzepatide (Mounjaro) for adults with a BMI of 35 or above alongside at least one weight-related condition, and semaglutide (Wegovy) under equivalent criteria within specialist services, both set out in NICE's appraisal of tirzepatide (TA1026). Private eligibility follows the licensed indications, which are slightly broader: BMI 30 or above, or 27 with a qualifying condition. The prescriber decides suitability; the BMI figure alone never guarantees approval.

Step 2, Check what a headline price leaves out

The things most often missing from low-headline prices: the consultation fee (sometimes charged separately at £20–£50), the prescription fee, delivery (which can be £5–£10 per order), dose-review support when you move up the titration schedule, and any aftercare if you have questions between orders. None of these are optional extras in clinical practice, they're the infrastructure that makes treatment safe.

There's also the question of the supply chain. Medicines dispensed from a GPhC-registered pharmacy in the UK must be sourced through the licensed UK supply chain, meaning they come from Eli Lilly or Novo Nordisk's authorised distributors. You can verify any online pharmacy on the GPhC pharmacy register in about thirty seconds. If a seller can't be found there, the medicine they're offering cannot legally be described as pharmacy-dispensed, and the MHRA has warned repeatedly about counterfeit pens sold through social media and unverified websites, some of which have been found to contain insulin rather than the medicine on the label.

The page on finding the cheapest weight loss injections covers those red flags in full. The short version: a seller offering these medicines without a clinical assessment, without a traceable supply chain, or for prices far below the known market floor is not offering a deal.

Step 3, Where nume sits, and why

We're not the cheapest option. That's a deliberate choice. One price covers the consultation, prescription, treatment, and free next-working-day delivery via DPD, nothing added at checkout, no subscription that bills you automatically each month. Every repeat order goes back to a GPhC-registered Independent Prescriber for a fresh clinical review before it's approved. Your pen arrives in plain, unbranded packaging; if you ordered before noon on a working day and were clinically approved, it's on the van the same afternoon.

You can see current treatment pricing on our weight loss treatments page. We don't publish per-pen prices in copy because our clinical team reviews every case individually, the dose that's right for you, and therefore the cost, is part of that conversation. What doesn't change: the all-in structure. Keep the pen in the fridge door, same spot each week, and you'll never be hunting for it on injection day.

Our GPhC premises registration number is 9012878, verifiable at any time on the GPhC register linked above. That's the clearest single check you can run on any UK online pharmacy. More on our approach is on the about us page.

Step 4, Why 'cheapest' is the wrong question for a prescription medicine

A small saving per pen means little if the clinical assessment is cursory, the supply chain is unverified, or there's no one to call when nausea hits day three of a new dose. The MHRA has seized approximately 20 million doses of illegally traded weight loss medicines (around £45m street value) in the UK, and in October 2025 raided the country's first known illicit manufacturing site for counterfeit tirzepatide pens. That's not a fringe problem.

The better question is: what does this price include, who reviews my case, where is the pharmacy registered, and what happens if something goes wrong? Those are the answers that determine whether treatment is genuinely good value. Understanding the full cost of weight loss injections breaks down each of those factors. If you're based in Northern Ireland and want to know what you're likely to pay, our guide to weight loss injections Belfast price sets out what's typical in that market. For a broader look at how Mounjaro and Wegovy compare as treatment options, the weight loss treatments overview is a good starting point. And if you have specific questions before starting, our team is available through the contact page seven days a week.

If you're ready to find out whether you're clinically suitable, a free consultation is the first step. A prescriber reviews your answers the same day.
