Mounjaro®

Start journey Learn moreLooking for the cheapest Mounjaro for weight loss in the UK? The honest answer is that private prices vary by dose and provider, typically falling somewhere between £149 and £375 per month since Eli Lilly raised UK list prices in September 2025. Any legitimate price must include a prescription following a clinical assessment — that is not optional under UK law. What those headline figures often leave out is where the real cost difference hides. Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a prescription-only medicine licensed for weight management, which means a qualified prescriber decides whether it is appropriate for you before anything is dispensed.

A question our prescribers hear most weeks: "I've seen it cheaper elsewhere, is it the same thing?" It is worth understanding what drives the number before answering that.
Mounjaro is tirzepatide, a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist made by Eli Lilly, the only medicine of its kind licensed for weight management in the UK. Each KwikPen delivers four weekly doses, so a monthly supply is a single pen. Private providers set their own prices, and those prices shifted substantially from 1 September 2025, when Eli Lilly raised the UK list price: the highest-dose pen moved from around £122 to around £330 at list, and private market prices since then have typically ranged from roughly £149 to £375 a month depending on the dose and the provider. Those figures are widely reported and hedged here accordingly, your actual quote depends on where you are in the titration schedule, since Mounjaro's price varies by strength.
Treatment starts at the 2.5mg pen, which is a tolerability dose to let your system adjust, then titrates through 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5 and 15mg, typically in four-week steps directed by your prescriber. Many people are curious about how much weight loss to expect in week 1 of Mounjaro, particularly at that initial 2.5mg dose when the body is still adjusting. The dose you are on determines the pen you need, so the monthly cost is not fixed for the whole treatment period. Understanding how Mounjaro's cost changes across the titration schedule before you start helps you plan accurately.
Advertised prices are rarely all-in. Some providers charge separately for the consultation, some for the prescription itself, some add a delivery fee on top. A few tier their aftercare: basic clinical follow-up is included, but anything more (a question between doses, a concern about a side effect, evidence review before a dose increase) comes at extra cost or takes days via a generic inbox.
The result is that a £149 headline can quietly become £180 or more once you add prescription, postage and a follow-up call. That does not make it fraudulent, but it does mean direct price comparisons between providers require you to read the small print carefully. The full picture of what Mounjaro weight loss costs in the UK is worth working through before you commit to a provider on price alone.
There is also the question of aftercare quality. Dose increases, in particular, should involve a clinical review, you are not simply reordering a consumable. A service that treats each repeat as a new clinical decision is slower to frustrate you with a dose that is not working, and quicker to catch a side effect that warrants attention. Speed of access to a real clinician between orders is hard to put a number on until you need it.
Plainly: we are not the cheapest option in the UK market. That is deliberate. We set one transparent price that covers your consultation, your prescription, next-working-day DPD delivery, and seven-day aftercare access, nothing charged separately, nothing added at checkout. Every repeat order goes back in front of a prescriber for clinical re-review; there are no automatic renewals. The price for your treatment is shown on our weight loss treatments page; we do not print per-pen figures in body copy.
Our dispensing is handled by our own GPhC-registered pharmacy (registration 9012878, verifiable on the GPhC register). Medicines are sourced through the licensed UK supply chain. If you order before 12pm on a working day and your consultation is approved, your treatment is dispatched the same day. The tracking notification arrives on your phone. It adds up, and we think it is worth it, though we understand that is exactly what you would expect us to say, so the register link is there for a reason.
If you want to understand what results look like on this medicine before committing, how much weight loss people see on Mounjaro in clinical trials is a reasonable place to start.
For most purchases, the cheapest option that does what you need is the rational choice. Prescription medicines work differently. Mounjaro is a Prescription Only Medicine, it requires clinical assessment, a licensed prescriber and a regulated supply chain. The MHRA has issued repeated warnings about fake weight-loss pens sold online and via social media, including the first UK raid on an illicit manufacturing site producing counterfeit tirzepatide pens in Northampton in October 2025. A provider offering these medicines without a clinical assessment, or at prices far below the market, is a red flag worth taking seriously. You can report suspicious sellers at the MHRA's Yellow Card site.
The right test for a private weight-loss medicine provider is not which costs least. It is whether they are GPhC-registered, whether a real clinician reviews your case, whether the supply chain is licensed, and whether someone qualified is available when something goes wrong. How we work at nume covers those points directly. The NICE appraisal of tirzepatide (TA1026) also sets out what safe, appropriate clinical assessment looks like, useful background if you want to know what a legitimate service should be doing before handing you a pen.
