Mounjaro®
Starting from £179.99/mo
Start journey Learn moreIn the UK, Mounjaro for weight loss is available privately at prices that vary by dose and provider, typically ranging roughly £149 to £375 per month — any legitimate price should include a prescription issued following a clinical assessment, because Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine and cannot legally be supplied without one. Since Eli Lilly raised its UK list price from 1 September 2025, the higher doses carry a significantly greater cost than they did before; the highest-dose pen's list price rose from around £122 to around £330, and private prices have moved accordingly. Understanding what sits behind any headline figure is the most useful thing you can do before comparing providers.

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a Prescription-Only Medicine. No pharmacy, online or otherwise, can lawfully supply it without a valid prescription issued after a clinical assessment, that is not a commercial decision, it is UK law under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012. So any price you see for Mounjaro weight loss treatment is, at minimum, the cost of the medicine plus the clinical infrastructure around it: consultation, prescriber time, prescription generation, dispensing and delivery.
The price per pen also shifts with dose. Mounjaro is titrated from a 2.5mg starting pen through to a maximum of 15mg, and higher-strength pens cost more. When Eli Lilly revised its UK list pricing in September 2025, the gap between starter and maintenance costs widened considerably. Prices as widely reported since then place the highest-dose pen at roughly £300 or above in most private settings. Our guide to the September 2025 price increase covers exactly what changed and why.
Before you start comparing numbers, it is worth spending thirty seconds on the GPhC register at pharmacyregulation.org/registers: type in any pharmacy's name and confirm it holds a current premises registration. A legitimate provider will be listed. A seller that cannot be found there should not be handling prescription medicines. That single check takes less than a minute and tells you more than any price comparison does.
A headline monthly price for Mounjaro weight loss does not always mean what it appears to mean. Some providers add a separate consultation fee, typically £20 to £50, charged before you reach checkout. Prescription fees are sometimes unbundled. Delivery is frequently charged on top, and for a temperature-sensitive medicine in tracked specialist packaging that cost is not trivial. Aftercare (the clinical support that matters when side effects appear or a dose question arises) is either absent or sold as a bolt-on at some services.
There is also the question of clinical re-review. Mounjaro is titrated over time; each dose increase requires a prescriber to confirm it is appropriate for you specifically. Services that automate that step, or skip it, are not providing equivalent clinical oversight to those that do not. When you find a price that looks unusually low, those are usually the items that have been trimmed to reach it. A more complete breakdown of what the market actually looks like is on our Mounjaro price comparisons page.
Cost of Mounjaro for weight loss over a full treatment course is also worth thinking through rather than just the first month's pen. If titration goes as planned and you reach a maintenance dose over several months, the monthly spend rises as the dose rises. Planning for that trajectory, rather than anchoring on the starter price, gives you a more accurate picture. Our cost of Mounjaro for weight loss page walks through a realistic multi-month projection.
We do not run discount codes, seasonal offers or introductory pricing. That is a considered position, not an oversight. Our single price covers the clinical consultation, the prescription, the medicine, and free next-working-day tracked DPD delivery, all in. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no hidden fee waiting at the last step. Every repeat order goes through a fresh prescriber review before it is approved. On our treatment page you can see current pricing and start your free consultation.
Cheapest is not a race we entered. The reason is straightforward: a prescriber's clinical judgement, a GPhC-registered pharmacy dispensing from the licensed UK supply chain, and robust aftercare all cost something. Stripping any of those back is how a price falls to an outlier level. If you would like to read more about our team and how our service is structured, our about us page sets it out plainly, and our lead prescriber's profile is at our clinical team page.
For a prescription medicine, price is the wrong primary filter. Mounjaro is an injectable treatment sourced through a regulated supply chain, and the MHRA has issued repeated warnings about counterfeit weight-loss pens sold online, some fake pens have been found to contain insulin rather than tirzepatide, with serious consequences for patients who used them. You can report suspect sellers directly via the MHRA Yellow Card scheme.
Signs of an illegitimate seller include offering the medicine without a clinical assessment, prices far below the published market range, and discount codes or voucher promotions tied to the medicine itself, promotions on Prescription-Only Medicines are not permitted under UK advertising rules. The MHRA's guidance on GLP-1 medicines, published on GOV.UK, is explicit that these treatments are not assessed for cosmetic or quick weight loss and should only be used under clinical supervision.
The right question is not "who charges least" but "who provides genuine medicine, proper clinical oversight, and support if something goes wrong". Our guide to finding the cheapest Mounjaro safely covers this in more detail. For context on what clinical trial participants actually achieved with tirzepatide, our weight loss results page covers the SURMOUNT-1 evidence and what realistic expectations look like. And if you want to compare tirzepatide to semaglutide on cost and clinical outcomes, the tirzepatide price page puts both side by side.
