Step 1, From delivery to first injection: keep it in the fridge

Step 2, Once you have injected your first dose: the room-temperature window

Here is where the confusion usually starts. Each Wegovy pen contains enough medicine for four weekly injections. After you use dose one, the pen is considered "in use". At that point, the SmPC permits storage at room temperature (below 30°C, out of direct light) for a limited period. What to do if you think the pen may have been stored incorrectly

It happens, a fridge that failed overnight, a pen left in a bag in the sun, a holiday bag that got too warm. The honest answer is that you cannot reliably assess a compromised pen by looking at it.
